Bullard

  Bullard is a small town in Smith and Cherokee Counties in the east-central part of Texas. U.S. Route 69 and Farm-to-Market Roads 2137, 2493, and 344 intersect here, about 15 miles south of the larger city of Tyler with a population of about 2,800.

     Bullard hosts several free events throughout the year including the very popular Mayor’s Breakfast. Celebrate Independence Day with the Blast Over Bullard featuring family friendly activities ending with a fireworks show.  Coptoberfest presents a safe trick or treating experience for the kids.  Magic on Main Weekend kicks off the holiday season.

      Bullard ISD is the Pre-K through 12th grade public school district for more than 2,659 students, 17 certification opportunities are available for students, 90% of the 2019 graduating class receiving distinguished level of achievement. The district holds an "A" Rating from the Texas Education Agency. The Brook Hill School is the Pre-K through 12th grade, independent, coeducational, college-preparatory day and boarding school with more than 660 total students from all over the world, and offers an advanced, college preparatory education.
